Giana Sini is an NYC based graphic designer, illustrator and fine artist. She graduated from Hartford Art School in 2015 with a BFA in illustration. She has been classically trained in fine art since middle school where she was invited to be featured in her first curated art show. Giana was one of the winners of the Long Island’s best young artist competition in 2011 where she got to have her piece featured at the Heckscher Museum of Art. She had accomplished an important milestone for an artist; having her work displayed in a museum. She was enrolled in the college portfolio prep program at the Huntington School of Fine Art during this time. Come college, it became more clear that illustration was what she wanted to major in. She considered it making art in a communicative way, and of course it offered abundant opportunity to be able to draw and paint. After graduating college, her internship in the fashion industry was the first place where she began to work as a graphic designer. It taught her a plethora of new skills, and the opportunity to see her designs become real life. She is now working as a graphic designer for a professional and college sports publication. Being highly adaptable and a quick study, she has worn many different hats and in a few different avenues of design. She feels lucky that her skills are translatable. Transitively, through different platforms and mediums, she always finds a way to validate her passion for what she does and making her dreams into reality.
